Jasper Ski Holidays

This friendly, charming frontier town lies in the middle of spectacular scenery and a true unspoilt wilderness. Today, Jasper offers the same unpretentious charm as it did in the old days when frequented by fur traders. The town is a haven for wildlife lovers as elk, moose and caribou roam free.

The Marmot Basin ski area is easilt reached by a 20 minute bus ride from town. The area has uncrowded slopes, majestic alpine bowls and beautifully groomed tree-lined runs, all covered by one of the best value lift passes in Canada. Known for its dry powder snow, the area is nicely varied with long, gentle, winding novice runs to steep, high alpine bowls. In addition, there are 300kms of cross country skiing trails.

The town of Jasper has everything a visitor may want including a wide range of non-ski activities, from dog-sledding to ice canyon walks to wildlife safaris. Plus there's a good selection of lively bars and restaurants in a friendly relaxed atmosphere.
