Levi is probably the most popular Lapland resort with good reason. Its ski area is regarded as the best and most extensive in Finland and offers snow-sure, uncrowded skiing in an area of exceptional natural beauty. Recently, its infrastructure has been developed to an enviably high standard with an impressive range of accommodation, whilst the resort itself is compact and colourful with a good variety of shops, restaurants and cosy bars. The resort centre is located right at the foot of the main ski lift which gives you great convenience, as do the 15 floodlit pistes that keep keen skiers out well into the evening. In addition, there is an extensive choice of off-slope activities including exhilarating husky, reindeer and snowmobile safaris. Or experience a night in a thermal glass igloo with a chance to see the mesmerising Northern Lights. There are 230kms of Cross Country skiing trails. The short transfer and the opportunity to go on 3 or 4 night Santa Breaks, makes it a superb choice for families.
Apres Ski: There is a good selection of restaurants as well as a handful of quiet or lively après ski bars.
